Limestone Mantel with Scrolled Keystone and Curved Legs

A flowing reclaimed limestone fireplace mantel drawn almost entirely in curves. The molded shelf has rounded returns, and below it the opening is cut as a serpentine arch that rises to a raised scrolled keystone at the centre, with a smaller scroll resolving each haunch. The jambs swell outward in a cabriole line, incised with a simple panel outline, and finish on square block feet. The stone is a clean ivory cream with fine open pores. Suited to a bedroom, sitting room, dining room, boutique hotel suite or elegant residential renovation.
